Drizzle & Fizz Sheet Cake

Ingredients (Cake)

  • 1½ cups Dr Pepper

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • 1 stick (8 tbsp) butter

  • 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp. baking soda

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup buttermilk

INGREDIENTS (Frosting)

  • 1 stick butter

  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 8 tbsp milk

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F. Grease a 13×9 pan.

  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine Dr Pepper, oil, butter, and cocoa; bring to a light simmer, remove from heat.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, and baking soda. Gradually add to the saucepan mixture, stirring. In a separate small bowl, beat eggs + buttermilk and fold into batter.

  4. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake 20-25 min or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  5. While cake bakes, prepare frosting: Melt butter, stir in cocoa and milk, bring to boil, then remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar until smooth. Pour frosting over warm cake, let set, then slice and serve.

Winter Warm-Up Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup vegetable oil

  • ¼ cup Dr Pepper

  • Chocolate chips or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease pan (8×8 or 9×9).

  2. In a bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, oil, and Dr Pepper; stir until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using. Pour batter into prepared pan.

  3. Bake ~20 minutes or until edges are set (center may remain slightly gooey).

  4. Cool, slice, and serve.

Nutty Pepper Cocoa Bars

Ingredients (Brownies)

  • 1/3 cup canola oil

  • 1 ¾ cups sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup Dr Pepper Cream Soda

  • ½ cup buttermilk

  • 2 cups flour

  • ½ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • ½ cup chopped pecans

INGREDIENTS (ICING)

  • 1/3 cup Dr Pepper Cream Soda

  • 6 tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • 16oz powdered sugar

  • 1-2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (or 325 °F if using glass pan). Grease 8×8 pan.

  2. In a large bowl, beat together oil, sugar, egg, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir Dr Pepper Cream Soda + buttermilk together. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa, and baking soda.

  3. Alternate adding the Dr Pepper/buttermilk mixture and flour mixture into the sugar mixture, stirring. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.

  4. Pour into the greased pan, bake for ~30 minutes (adjust time for different pan sizes).

  5. For the icing: Melt butter in saucepan, add Dr Pepper Cream Soda and cocoa, bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Add powdered sugar + vanilla and whisk smooth. Pour icing over warm brownies, let set, cut and serve.

Ingredients

  • 12oz can Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream

  • 12oz White Chocolate Chips

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

  • 8oz softened cream cheese

  • 1 regular box cheesecake instant pudding

  • Crushed graham crackers

  • Fresh strawberries (if desired)

Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate chips in a small saucepan on low heat. Add heavy cream and stir until smooth. Stir in Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream, remove from heat, and allow to cool for 15 minutes.

  2. Combine white chocolate mixture, cream cheese, and pudding until creamy. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.

  3. Scoop graham cracker crumbs (about 1-2 tbsp) in a clear glass and top with pudding mixture. Add a strawberry for garnish. Keep refrigerated until serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 (12oz cans) Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream

  • 1/2 cup & 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (separated)

  • 1/2 cup & 2 cups Sugar (separated)

  • 1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil, melted

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

  • Whipped cream (optional)

  • Strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9×13 baking dish.

  2. Heat 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream in a saucepan over medium heat until creamy.

  3. Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour into the baking dish. Add the pudding mixture from the saucepan evenly over top.

  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, allow to cool, and serve. Top with whipped cream and add strawberries for garnish and enjoy!

Dr Pepper Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  • 12oz can Dr Pepper

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 9-inch baking pan.

  2. Mix all of the dry ingredients except chocolate chips. Stir in Dr Pepper until blended.

  3. Now stir in chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
